Hourly comics are comics where you draw a comic for every hour you are awake on a certain day, traditionally February 1st. People usually do them as diary comics, though very occasionally they might write stream-of-consciousness stories instead. These used to be hosted on a "dated" forum, where people's comics were all on one page, in the correct order, at readable size. They gradually began to be transferred to Twitter, Tumblr, Facebook and Deviantart, where the comics were all on seperate pages, were not always in order, and were often presented small, with it unintuitive / impossible to zoom in and read them. All of these "improvements", plus the forum becoming un-maintained (possibly due to the owner going to prison), meant the concept swiftly vanished back into obscurity. Still, it was fun while it lasted.
