A wad made for an Episode 1-themed contest at a site called Doomcenter. I used the E1 texture set, but otherwise tried to make a "realistic" level, which is thus nothing at all like E1! I also used the E1 monster set, but other levels in the contest placed cacos in the second room, and whatnot.
For years I've been saying I "didn't come last, but only just!", but now that I look into it, the order of the wads in the resulting megawad (e1contest.wad) didn't reflect the order of the prizes! There were only first, second and third places, and then "everybody else".
Wait, that means I technically came fourth!
