Probably more like decennialsSo far I only plan on making 1910 Press "annuals" for the Red, White & Blue. They will be 100 pages (anything less shouldn't be allowed to be classified as an annual. The British government loves pettily interfering with our lives, but are oddly silent on that matter) and feature mostly stories in the style of the Red, White & Blue. There will also be stories from The Red Kite, the Trident and Capes*** too. Anything that broadly fits the Boys' Own or Silver Age mould. Some things will have their format changed around. A Trident story might get a comic strip episode, while stories that are normally comics might appear as text. Some stories will also be in colour, though not all of them (that'd take forever!). There will also be some reprints, too - though I'll try to keep them at least 3 years old when / if things get going in a regular sequence. Annuals should, of course, be hardbacks with the interior pages a kind of semi-cardboard thick newsprint. But that's not an option for POD, so my ones will be thin squarebound paperbacks. For now, anyway. If things get going and prove popular enough, maybe in future I'll crowdfund "proper" annuals. |
