End the Woke Age! Bring on the Iron Age!Capes*** is my American-style superhero comic, based especially on comics from the early Silver Age such as Tales of Suspense. The main story is going to be The Serpent, who is most closely based on Batman (by way of the British King Cobra, who was mostly a snake-based Batman, with a few Superman elements). There will be rotating backup stories too, including... - The Machine: the same character from The Red Kite, but in a different universe. - Moonlight Sonata: closest to Japan's The Guyver, only by way of Iron Man and Captain Marvel - Hat Man: based on the common "ghost", and The Shadow. - Paranormal Investigation Executive (PIE): Kind of like Agents of Shield, I guess. I never watched that, so it'll be more like The X-Files in a world with superheroes. - Team S: They need a better name, for starters. I plan on taking the basic concepts for the characters from a certain infamous failed Marvel project and making them, ya know, good. - The Dead Men: Another vague idea I'm kicking around. Kinda like Ya Boi Zack's Jawbreakers, crossed with Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased). This comic will also be the one that deals with "bigger" concepts like multiverses, cosmic clashes, magic and mythology. The Serpent will mostly be fighting bank robbers, mind you. He is only a fit, normal guy! I have plans to include a lot of horror and paranormal elements, too. Just go and look up some accounts of ghosts, aliens and skinwalkers, but keep silver-age comics in mind as you do it. It's a gold mine! |
