Another bar I found because I was Google Maps'ing for somewhere else and it suddenly popped up. I dunno if actually being in the area you're searching gives more results or what?
Anway, though it says they have "games", I saw no facility for playing them. But also I wasn't there long, and drunk. In fact, it wasn't until I looked at the pictures the next day that I even remembered coming here!
The mama was pretty fun, though inevitably didn't know what Genshiken is (they rarely do). I was the only customer there and it was a bit wierd. Later on some guy came in and dropped off a small bag of pills, which swiftly vanished under the counter. The mama said he was the master, and explained his odd behaviour by saying he is gay.
Getting There
Come out of Namba Subway exit 14, turn back on yourself and walk to a bridge, from which you can see the Glico Man and "oblong ferris wheel" Donki, two of Osaka's landmarks. Take the first right after the bridge, head down, under the "Soemoncho" sign, and up to the ferris wheel donki. Turn left just before it (with a car park on your right). Go straight until you see a "Queen's Corner" building, with a "What's CBD?" sign. Turn left after that sign, and go straight. Pass through a shotengai, and it's on your left.

Are you ready for this?? (you aren't ready for this). The sign outside the door says the charge is ¥1380 for 30 minutes of nomihodai. The sign in the window says it's ¥1000 for 30 minutes of nomihodai. The menu says 30 minutes is ¥1250 before 7:55 and ¥1500 for 30 minutes after 8:00. I was there about 30 minutes and got charged.... ¥1100! Maybe they have a special "gaijin price" because having whiteys in there looks "cool"? I dunno.
Wait until more whiteys from California and London start rocking up, looking for "better schools", "cleaner streets", "nicer buses" and anything that doesn't sound like it could possibly refer to race. You'll not want us then!
