Review
For fans of Tohou, which I understand to be one of them bullet hell games. Google says underage people can go and drink juice or cola. Given the drinking age in Japan is 21, this might have to be an option for 18-20 year olds from the UK etc. The master likes making colourful cocktails, which I preseme are themed after Touhou characters.
I caught this place during an event, so it was unusually ¥800 for a beer, cash-on, and no cover charge, but it's not always like that. The beer was some obscure German concoction, with a bit of a Belgian Weiss taste, too. That was a surprise.
Because an event was on it was full and the bar was stuffed with empty bottles and glasses, but they found a comfy chair to slot me in at. A big collection of figures and books at the back of the room. The master is absolutely jacked! There were some cute customers for the event, too.
Because it was an event, and seemingly "cheaper" than normal, or at least had no charge, a bunch of the guys got absurdly pissed. One fell asleep on the stairs, another was face down on the floor outside, alternating with gasping and vomiting sounds. Even the ones "helping" them could hardly stand. Them colourful character cocktails can sneak up on you, eh? Looks like it does decent food on normal nights, too.
Getting There
Come out of exit 2 from Nipponbashi station, go north, past Mofuru Nipponbashi (and spider man!) and it's on the left after the side road after that. The building is tall and white, but the directory is kind of far inside. Anyway this bar is on floor 9.
Details
I'm sure I saw a picture saying it has a ¥1000 cover charge and some other rolling charge, but now I can't find it. It might even have no charge! Further investigation needed.
In Conclusion
Good fun, I need to go back and try that roast beef!
