A thing I uploaded to Deviantart once, I beleive inspired by a couple of cartoons made by a guy called something like "Grock", which were about gay people daring to be consumerist and not interested in politics. The one for lesbians actually said "She's completely apolitical", as if that was a bad thing. Of course, at the time I thought preferring to buy shit rather than sit in the road blowing whistles while people try to build a power station made one "far right", I thus beleived a huge segment of the gay community was "far right", and thus anti-immigration, traditionalist and supportive of another runway at Heathrow, or whatever the issue du jour was at the time. OH IF ONLY, EH?
