The "Fenpunk" universe. I've not made anything for it yet. It's called Fenpunk because millions of years ago, a large asteroid impact in Europe forced up thousands of small islands all over the Pacfic Ocean, whilst also causing a geological upheaval that resulted in the North Sea silting up and becoming a giant fen. This huge fen is a separate country between England, Germany and the Netherlands, it also has it's own language which is an amalgamation of all three. It's a very rural nation, with most people living on stilt villages, though a few cities on artificially-made solid islands also exist. Travel is by punt and, later, swamp boat. In the Pacific, the vast array of tiny islands has changed the character of things there, too. Many more people live down there, travelling the waterways by small boat and, later, floatplanes. The vast number of islands declare themselves a loose association forming a "country" with many independent "states" within it. Many of these "states" containing only one house and family. In the 30's and 40's the Japanese Empire made moves to begin annexing many of the islands. |

An idea I had to do a re-make of Star Wars but with 40's technology. I also wanted to do it in Ligne Claire ("Tintin" style... though fans hate it being called that) style. |
