A big supermarket chain which began as a glorified greengrocer's in 1961, and by 2001 sold almost everything and had multiple branches in every British town and city. Their logo is the first thing people see, when coming out of the clouds over major airports. People jokingly suggested Farnbridge should be named Bodkinsbridge, because of the number of branches there.
