General Info: |
The first (of many) flying vehicles invented for the Cart Wars setting. I had a rather cargo-cult level understanding of flight at the time. I beleived if you built something vaguely plane-shaped, "got an old engine", and put it all together, it would fly. This "plane" had wings that were just planks of wood, a fuselage that was a random metal tub I remember seeing dumped on a farmyard somewhere, and landing gear made of shed corner bits and plastic wheels. All sent aloft by a propellor that's also just old wooden offcuts, and a lawnmower engine! |

Variants: |
I vaguely recall drawing up a 1-seat fighter, and 2-seat training / bomber variants. Maybe. |

Origin / Inspiration: |
Seeing that metal tub laying around, and getting an idea that Cart Wars could "take to the sky" to see what our enemies were up to... in a gravity race on a very short, not-very steep hill. This was the seed of Cart Wars evolving into something very silly, before being scaled back. |
