General Info: |
A large, two-seat plane built for the Doman Air Force, and spirited away by The Returners when that kingdom fell. The returners have about 80 of them, dispersed around various "farms". Some Doman expertise defected with them (these being the only two seaters), so they're in pristine condition, and ready for operations whenever appropriate. Though they emphasise ground attacks, they can hold their own as fighters, too, especially against some of Shinra's older designs. They are, of course, also great for knocking down Shinra transport and radar planes. |

Origin / Inspiration: |
Mostly inspired by the F-15 Eagle and Mig-29, with a little bit of the Tornado. The name is inspired by Whirlwind 1, "my" cart in earlier (and later!) Cart Wars comics. When I first built a cart, I called it Wildcat, for some reason. The second cart I built was actually called Whirlwind 1. As with Wildcat, it was never raced, as nobody else ever finished a cart to do Cart Wars with. |
