General Info: |
A small and pretty no-frills hatchback made by Peugeot for the entire 90's (2000 - 2003 where like the DVD extras of the 90's). They sold well and had various versions, from 1.0 to 1.6 petrol engines, two diesels and even a short-lived electric version. It was the 90's so all the electric versions had "LOOK AT ME! I'M ELECTRIC!!" plastered down the side of them. Sales were disappointing, for some reason nobody can fathom. Initially they only came in 3-door versions, but later a 5-door version was made, on the off chance you had any mates small enough to actually fit in the back. The earlier models from the early 90's were cheap old bangers by the time the "Barryboy" or "Chav" fashion rolled around, so lots of them were decorated with gaudy bodykits and spoilers, then stuffed into hedges. The 106 mk2 was also the basis of the Citroen Saxo, which was the stereotypical Chav car. In Felney Software driving games, it's called a Peggy 106 |

Based on the real car. The name "Peggy 106" comes from the fact one of my friends had a girlfriend called Peggy, a very long time ago, now! |
