General Info: |
A "French Cortina" with mean-looking front-end styling. It came with a wide array of engines in both saloon and estate form. There was also a 505 which looked almost exactly the same, but bigger. |

Variants: |
C475ZIG - Mike's car in Classic Felney. Actually that period of registration numbers in Britain didn't have "Z", presumably because it could be mistaken for "2". |

Origin / Inspiration: |
Based on the real car. When I first stared drawing Classic Felney, I just drew almost all cars as generic 3-boxes. Maybe with a swoopier front end if they were meant to be fast. At the time, my dad had one of these, and it's a generic 3-box, so I turned Mike's car into one. Mike's one is light green, but my dad's was blue. I once accidentally coloured Mike's as blue. Somebody once intercepted me as I came home and offered £50 to banger it. I kind of half wanted it for myself (but insurance would have been a lot). Dad eventually sold it to some gypsies, who let a kid who was obviously not old enough to drive drive it... right into our neighbour's flowerbed, at first (I actually captured this on video, dunno if I still have it). Luckily they were out. The very next day it was dumped in a layby with all the windows smashed. |
