I think this was before I got an email from a fan (who, I later realised, I'd previously met in real life) who said "No medium has yet been invented which conveys how boring the fenland landscape is". Also Rcampbell, implied to be somebody from the West Indies, was the name of a black kid who got beaten to death by the police in the 70's. Angelic Upstarts did a song about it. |
