"Barry the Super Scot" was some guy on a forum who got into a moronic spat with the (barely older than it's teenage user base) admins over which game console is best, and banned. He later turned up as some guy called "Happy!", claimed to be from America, and started asking why people were accusing him of "being this Barry guy", before anybody even had. Also Happy!'s email address began with B and was hosted at a Scottish .edu site. Anyway, this spat extended to other members of the user base and thier own websites, including my forum at the time, where I accused a random "troll" (guy with perfectly legitimate questions about how an Anarchist society was supposed to work, and how far acceptance of all 'alternate sexual orientations' was going to go) of being Barry, leading him to email the real Barry and have them team up on me, until I banned them both and claimed victory. I retaliated by the incredibly mature method of putting him in the Insanity Please RPG as a kid called "Barry the Supertwat", who had 1hp and his weaknesses listed as "maturity, reason, logic", Goddamn did I kick his ass, he had no way back from that. |
