Teddy Bear World was an evolution of my brother and I playing with teddy bears in our childhood, up to a sci-fi epic about mysterious alien(ish) invaders in an on-the-surface utopian world of teddy bears... usually with heavy inspiration from whatever movie or videogame we were into at the time. I wanted to make it into a videogame that would have been like Tomb Raider 3 only with a world the size of Final Fantasy 7, with numerous quests and missions through huge cities and beautiful countryside. Naturally, what actually got made was an incoherent, scribbled comic that was left unfinished. What a surprise, eh? Anyway, the re-make of Teddy Bear World will appear in The Red Kite in two parts, one will be the "main" story, and the other will be a bunch of side stories that feed into or expand on the main plot. In common with Insanity Please, Teddy Bear world is set in a galaxy billions of light years distant from earth, and is a completely independent story that won't cross over with anything (outside of gags), because no matter what technology either side invents, they can never reach each other. Also Insanity Please is happening billions of light years out in the opposite direction, so that especially can't cross over with Teddy Bear World Exceeeept
Actually, the only currently online presence of Teddy Bear World is mixed in with Insanity Please! A scan of the old scribbled comic I used as filler once. I've made up some seperate pages here so you can read it on it's own.
