This is the first re-make of the gun, very basically sketched with biro, and then computer-coloured. A lot of the detail was added (or was supposed to be added!) in the colouring. I coloured several of these pages, but then lost them in a crash, back when Windows XP had some dodgy updates shipped that kept bricking people's computers and requiring a format. The same crashes are responsible for you not being able to play Ultimate Hell. For better or for worse!

I planned to finish about 25-30 (well, 28-32 really) pages, print them in full colour, and give it away for free(!) at the next UK Web & Mini Comix Thing, which was probably supposed to be the one in 2006 or 2007.

As you can probably tell, this re-make was also supposed to be somewhat parodic. I drew a lot of inspiration from the infamous Doom Comic!

I was on the very tail end of being a "red" when I did this, it makes it sound like both armies are "rebels". At least I tried! The original version mentioned nothing about the politics of the war at all, beyond a vague "tyrant" controlling a bunch of picked-at-random countries.

The zombie serum!, fortunatley a well-timed shelling makes the enemy officer drop it. I didn't like the design of the soldier's helmets, so just changed it. The new one she's wearing is the "combat helmet". Presumably the other is the "dress helmet".
