General Info: |
Jake is a friend of Steve Gunn, and fights alongside him in World War 3. In the original version of The Gun he was the third "recurring" character to appear, after Sue Jackson, and was apparently the only Black guy in the war. He also talked in stupid 70's-style ebonics. The new version is more of an ordinary guy from London, he's also an amateur boxer. |

Character Origin: |
The original version was a pandering-to-diversity ludicrous stereotype I shoved in The Gun because all the other characters were White (though China was one of the enemies, so some of the unnamed enemies could have come from there). In the new version he's one of Steve Gunn's friends, and sometimes a voice-of-reason when the core characters end up in dangerous situations. |
