The BMW 0.75 Series was a replacement for the earlier BMW 0.5 Series. Created by taking the styling cues of the "Countryman" ghastly monstrosity and making that level of ghastliness the standard. Despite being called the BMW 0.75 series, it's actually bigger than the BMW 1 series, being the size of early "one box" family cars such as the Renault Scenic.

Allegedly baring some relation to the Mini, most people dismiss this as the conspiracy theory that it is, what with the car being too big, too safe, too fast and too expensive. There's even a five-door version!
