General Info:

An exact copy of the Ford Capri mk1, which is built in Homonia from 2046 until 2180. The only modernisations it has are to make it start more reliably, have a better heater and to resist rust more efficiently. Everything else is exactly the same as it was in 1970. The available engines range from 1.3, 1.6, 2.0, 3.0, 3.1 and 5.3, and there's a few trim levels.

The 1.3 and 1.6 are popular first cars in Homonia. It is also a healthy export to countries without damp, limp-wristed safety rules, such as the NWAR, the Caliphate, Russia, Japan and Italy. The British government, by contrast, declared that the name "Intimidator" embodied toxic petro-masculinity, and made attempting to import this car a specific criminal offence, punishable by up to four years in prison. They also check through the social media / photos on cameras of Britons who have gone on holiday in countries where this car is legal, and fine them if they have rented one.

Production ended in 2180, when anti-gravity technology makes the production of wheeled cars increasingly inconvenient.

Origin / Inspiration:

I used to dream about a better Britain of the future, where Capris had gone back into production. One time I was at a car show and saw a custom one, jet black, with a V8 and a huge chrome scoop, wide arches and the word "INTIMIDATOR" written down the side in red. When it came time to name the reproduced version from Homonia, the name was obvious.

Intimidator is also the name of the Core's equivalent to the Arm's powerful, long-range Big Bertha cannon, in the game Total Anniahlation.
