The main yard in bughunt 2 has more detail that it did in bughunt 1..for instance crates and barrels are laying around waiting to be put in a proper store room..

One of the tunnels that the ants used to get into the base, theyve all caved in now though, which is why you arent being overwhelmed by endless ant attacks... but still,you'll get to enter thier nest later and these little tunnels prepare you for that.
Dont shoot this guy, he's on your side ^-^, he survived by hiding in a small storage closet, much like you did...
The third level is changed quite a lot from the third level of the old version, but it still retains the "let them get near the barrels and blast away" gameplay,a short but intense battle..and a chance to re-arm for level 4,the garden path
