I was planning to go to C-Part for the first time in ages to get some pics / a more detailed review. But I walked the wrong way, and ended up roughly near Noo. I searched for the good old "アニメバー", and up popped one I'd never seen before! So of course I had to go and check that out.
Anyway, I think I've found a new "B Tier" favourite! There were two women there dressed in sexy, erm, maybe cosplay? And one nerdy-looking guy at the counter. But the women actually know their stuff and were talking enthusiastically about different anime they like! (the shorter one knows her Scotch, too) So it's not just some "take the money of otaku by showing a bit of leg" bar, like so many others. The bit of leg is a mere bonus.
The place has big, comfy seats and a deep bar with lots of figures, but they don't get in the way of the drinkin', much. There's also a ton of posters on the walls.
One word of warning, though, they did seem to switch up the pricing on me,and I think I got ever so slightly overcharged (only by about ¥500), keep an eye on what you ask for!
Getting There
Listed on Google Maps as "Otom" not "Otome". If you're zoomed out it looks like it's on one street, but actually it's on another. Look out for / maps the TM-33 Building. The building is very narrow with a small entryway facing the street. The lift is right at the far end of the building, go up to floor 3
Details
Either ¥600 charge and ¥800 per drink, OR ¥2200 per hour nomihodai and ¥1200 for each half-hour after that. The former might be ¥600 per hour, not sure. Or they forgot I asked for that plan and put me on the other. I'm not really sure what happened to be honest, but I paid circa ¥4200 in the end.
Google Maps said they close at 5:00, but when I went (a Tuesday before a Wednesday bank holiday) they closed at 1:00. Only their Google Translate message to me said "1:00 is the most special time" haha.
In Conclusion
Funny staff but gets expensive. Can be an enjoyable night, I know I'll be back!
