Like i said, The original concept was invented by some idiot on Doomworld, who said Gaydoom should be a wad that makes the marine really camp, presumably for DM. Anyway, after experiencing the exasperating forgivingness of people on a Matt Shepard memorial forum, i designed my own version, heavily inspired by the 70's movie "Jubilee". Its set in 1977, in an alternate world where the Nazis fled to Argentina after WW2 and built up a secret army of genetically-modified supermen. They then return and invade europe, using supreme brutality and technoligical superiority to crush all resistance. After a few weeks, the player character (Mark Johnson) comes home just in time to see his boyfriend killed by a stray Nazi rocket, and joins the underground rebellion against the nazis, brutally slaughtering a load of them in the process...

The original design for this was going to feature the player on a one-man crusade to murder a load of nazi enemies, and anyone else who gets in the way. It originally started as a total joke, but some people on Doomworld said it would be pretty good it only it wasnt "Gay themed", but nahh, if you where a normal person killing cops and christians it wouldnt be anywhere near as offensive!. And plans included running down a load of BNP protesters in a Capri with barbed wire on it, going into a church and murdering a load of unarmed christians, and even killing a tony martin lookalike, also i wanted to randomly stick slogans to the walls in the levels like "Hey kids!, If you cut your parents open you will get cool slimy things to play with!" XD

After a few revisions of my idea, Gaydoom will now be more about fighting in an underground resistance movement against the Nazis and Collaborators, and missions are likely to include Assasinating a police cheif, Capturing an enemy airship, Escaping a besiged building and Piloting a helicopter to rain a payload of death on the enemy from above. As well as going into a church and murdering a load of unarmed christians..well its still got to be offensive somehow
