This is the home of all my stuff for the videogame Doom. Some of it is just plain addons for the game, but I usually use Doom as a medium for making FPS games that are set in the Felneyverse. Or I would if I ever finished anything. This page has quick links to download the projects (the finished ones, anyway).

FINISHED

Crap Map

A "more recent*" re-make of the first Doom map I ever made (well, the first functional one). It ended up being the second level of my failed megawad D2: London 2666.

*-around 2007. In 10 minutes. For a joke post on Doomworld.

Runs on: Doom 2, Map 01

Port: Limit-removing / Boom. MIGHT work on Vanilla!

Bughunt

An abandoned (twice!) mini partial conversion, where you get sent back in time, and shrunk to a tiny size, in order to study ants. UAC wants to use giant ants to fight the demons in the future. This inevitably goes wrong, and you have to battle through an ant-infested base and garden.

Runs on: Doom 2, Map 01 - 06

Port: Version 1 - Zdoom, Legacy / Version 2 - EDGE

Space Traffic Control

I made this for an Episode 1 contest on an old website called Doom Center. Aside from the texture set, it's not really E1-themed at all.

Runs on: Doom, E1M1

Port: Limit-removing / Boom.

A Better Wad I Pulled Outta My Ass

My most "famous" contribution to the Doom community (it got a sidebar mention in the Cacowards and everything). It was made to parody a terribly-made TC called Doom Rampage Edition. You play as a Baron of Hell and fight through a UAC base, against human enemies.

Runs on: Doom2, Map01.

Port: EDGE, 3DGE or EDGE-Classic 1.27 or later

Kill Giselle Pakeerah!

Apparently she was campaigning against violent videogames, and maybe horror movies, in 2004. I made a wad where you get to shoot her, that's what us well-adjusted people do, ya see.

Runs on: Any map with Barons of Hell in it.

Port: Any port that supports sprite replacements (Zdoom, Legacy etc).

666 Hell

A wad I made with the intention of speedmapping it up on 6th June 2006, but it took too long, came out on the 18th. It's loosely based on the PSX Doom final level Redemption Denied, only bigger. You have to fight several Baron and Cyberdemon variants.

Runs on: Doom 2, Map 30

Port: EDGE, 3DGE or EDGE-Classic 1.29 RC3 or later.

Kaboom!

A joke experiment I made. Shoot the rocket launcher into the open on a big map (Map15 can get into a locked loop) and watch that framerate die!

Runs on: Anywhere there's a rocket launcher / Cyberdemon and a big open area.

Port: Any port that supports sprite replacements and dehacked (Zdoom, Legacy etc).

Skewl 2

On the Lost Media page (see below!) I said skewl.wad was lost. Well, in December 2024 I remembered, by finding, a retextured and improved version I'd started making circa 2003, then forgot about! So I quickly tidied it up for a Christmas release.

Runs on: Doom 2, Map01

Port: Limit-removing / Boom.

PROJECTS

Anarchy Doom Basic Remake

Anarchy Doom was my first really cohesive Doom project, and what the earliest version of this website was set up to host... until I screwed up and deleted it. This re-make aims to capture what might have been, only with better mapping. And graphics. And Dehacked work.

Runs on: Doom 2, Maps 1 - 12?

Port: Zdoom, Doom Legacy or Eternity.

Insanity Please Doom

I started to make this once, but it was crappy (see below). The re-make will roughly re-tell the story of the Insanity Please comic (it may "overtake" the comic in later levels and deviate), with absurd amounts of action and gore. It will be for the ZDoom engine, so I can use fast projectiles and MAPINFO to define skies, but with otherwise stick to Dehacked and voodoo-doll "scripting".

Runs on: Doom 2, Maps 1 - 32

Port: Zdoom

ABANDONED / HISTORICAL

Insanity Please Doom - abandonware

The old version of Insanity Please Doom, see the old website design and (eventually) download what there was.

Runs on: Doom 2, Maps 1 - 7

Port: Doom Legacy - the old version that supported skyboxes

Ultimate Hell

An idea I had before I even had Doom on the PC... create hordes of different, varied monsters for the player to wade through! Unlike projects such as Earthbound Doom, I was trying to give it a cohesive "hellish" theme and not just making it a grab-bag of enemies from every sprite-based FPS. I lost a lot of work in a crash, and gave up.

Runs on: Doom 2

Port: EDGE

Gay Doom 1

Hosted under the umbrella of my abandoned, and shit, Fourth Reich story. The story was based on this idea for an oh-so-offensive Doom wad about gay liberation and punk. Based extremely loosely on the movie Jubilee. Which is also rather "loose" in it's plot and sensicalness.

Runs on: Doom 2 maps 1-32 (was the plan)

Port: EDGE

Gay Doom 2

A much-updated and even more tryhardedly-offensive version of the page above. Does contain some of the first pictures I ever drew in a "realistic" art style. My cousin thought they were awesome... even if they were concepts for a Doom wad about shooting cops, and his dad was a cop. Also I'd seen a clip of the movie Elephant and thought it was badass, so wanted to incporate that grainy grittiness into the wad.

Runs on: Doom 2 maps 1-32 (was the plan)

Port: EDGE

LOST MEDIA

My missing wads! Do you have them??
